The scientists said it will take longer for that to suck in about 6 billion years but in 4.6 billion years the sun will become a dead star and create a black hole.

The sun is actually too small to become a black hole. It will only bloat as it dies and become about as large as the Earth’s orbit. Luckily, none of us will be around then, though.
