Not wanted: Successful woman!

Time of India has new story. It reads “A recent book by New York Times columnist suggest that men are afraid of women who are successful and bright :/?”. Sure, the article sucks ;)

Wow, it may be because of power trouble issues or may be something else. All I can say it is not a good idea to afraid of Successful woman. If she is Ambitious, Independent, and Smart then men should appreciate that :)

My friend questioned me would you go and accept success women? I replied why not. You have to accept facts in life and this is one of them. Heh…

New Egyptian tomb discovered

Archaeologists have discovered an intact, ancient Egyptian tomb in the Valley of the Kings, the first since King Tutankhamun’s was found in 1922. The tomb was found only 5m away from King Tutankhamun’s.

This is really good and wonderful discovery. I hope lots of secretes information will be come out of it. We will learn more about ancient Egyptian culture and civilization.

According to BBC news “The tomb, the 63rd discovered since the valley was first mapped in the 18th century, was unexpectedly found only 5m away from King Tutankhamun’s, a member of the team told the BBC’s World Tonight. Patricia Podzorski, curator of Egyptian Art at the University of Memphis, said the team had not been looking for it.”

Rs.1 – Flat rate for STD phones

Finally, you will be able to pay a flat rate for STD calls. Rs. 1 per minute will be new rates for STD from March. No matter where, the hell you are in India you can call to any part of country with just Rs.1 pm. Both MTNL and BSNL – Government owned telecom companies planning to charge new rates from March with new reduced monthly rental. However, Reliance telecom (private firm) already announced such plans. This is yet another sign of booming economy. I just wish cost for broadband connection come down with high-speed Internet access for home users.

An extraordinary dinner that changed my life

Shaily Mishra has published very nice article in Times of India’s The Speaking Tree section titled as “An extraordinary dinner that changed my life”. From the article “One night God appeared in my dreams and asked me to have dinner with Him the following night. The venue was the restaurant not from my home and time was 9 pm I was confused. Should I go ahead and keep my dinner appointment with God or dismiss the invitation as a crazy dream?“. Read the full article online

This story gives very nice message “you have to be honest with God everyday.” This is what happens most of time with me. I am only honest on holey days and other days I do not remain honest. I am still thinking on this one….
