Nice, but I highly doubt it. First, our brain works in a self learning mode. As far as I know there is no such technology exists. In other words all your efforts are good and but you can’t build a artificial brain as it will not be functional like our brain. However, this research could give insights into brain disease and may find out may other details about our brain.

  1. Yes, the human brain is the most complex and the most relevant organ of our body. Brain is responsible for every actions and thoughts of an human being. The composition and functions of the brain is really complicate. Especially the wonders and exceptional task it performs is something that makes us to unravel the mystery of human brain and its functions even today. It is really interesting to know that artificial human brain would be build within the next ten years. If the neurologists and the researchers are really successful in building the artificial brain that will be an exceptional and the most wonderful invention that human being has ever made. Let’s wait eagerly for that day to come.

  2. It’s ironic, we use all our resources to create a mechanical retard when we could be investing in organic minds instead. How about working on an education system that works for all and leaving the gadgets for a generation or two?

  3. Building an artificial brain is an interesting idea but doesn’t seem be possible for at least next 100
years. There are many reasons behind it. First of all, understanding the construction and developement of neural network system in the brain and its parallel processing capabilities at exceptionally high speeds is an important task. Secondly, the effect of ‘thoughts’ which the human mind undergoes needs to be analysed thoroughly as every thought affects the chemical processes inside the human brain. And the most important part what we consider as the difference between a live system and a dead object. All this happens inside the brain with life as a natural instinct and doesn’t need any instructions from any external system.

  4. well the idea of artificial human brain could materialise ,soon.BEFORE the invention of many mordern devices it was thought impoosible .so artificial human brain could be a reality soon

  5. @ Paul Baines: A small company can dream about creating artificial brain and have a hope of succeeding.
On the other hand, NO SMALL COMPANY has the power to stop the destruction of educational systems in democratic countries — most democratic politicians and lobbyists are _very_ afraid of highly educated free-thinking people.
To illustrate: Both in Europe and USA there are laws and ways to imprison you for spreading some kind of informations. In Europe you cannot express *doubt* about jewish holocaust numbers publicly (several people is imprisoned for that), in USA there are laws to imprison you without limits and without telling you what you did, just upon suspicion you are terrorist. The definition of terrorist fits nearly everyone who disagrees with official truth and who is ready to do something about it.
    Sad, but true.

Therefore — creating an artificial brain or being revolutionist is still the best way how to create someone/something intelligent. Creating the A.I. is much easier for a couple of smart individuals longing for better future (unless they are in power, which is not the case in democratic countries ;-)).

    +1

  7. artificial brain is most important poject in the world. many countries are trying to make his artificial brain.
if we get success in it then it make a revolution in our life. we are able make robot which will think and behave
    like a man.
