No coconuts at Siddhivinayak temple

Ganesha’s Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir will not allow coconuts and big garlands. This is due to terrorist threats.

The sources at the temple say, is based on Israeli intelligence advice given to Indian agencies. The Israelis have apparently told Indian authorities that terrorists may use garlands and coconuts in their attacks on Hindu shrines.

This is really a bad news for most of us. Just imagine going to mandir without coconuts. This kind of act shows that how much we are terrified. Given that over 10,000 coconuts pass through the temple doors each day temple authorities say it’s practically impossible to check every one of them. This temple has tremendous importance and status in our society and especially in Mumbai. The Siddhivinayak Mandir evolved from a small, tiny place of worship to the Grand Temple that stands today in the later half of the twentieth century. The glory to the temple was bought not only by the politicians who frequented the temple but also numerous bollywood filmstars who continuously visit the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesh.

I hope terrorist will never ever able to win and destroy peace loving society by the the blessings of Lord Ganesh :D
